Regardless of how one thinks of the Divine Order there are a few long held beliefs that appear ready for us to reexamine and of what value reconsider. At the forefront in my mind is the idea of Faith. At the top of the list of things a person could use in making their way through the seemingly endless maze of Human interactions, complex social structure navigation, and self-exploration, an unwavering and deeply abiding belief that we are being somehow guided and that everything will turn out for the best is in place and covered within the scope of Faith.

There are cynics that chide those who have identified for themselves unseen support. The first list is of what could be describe as "fanciful" and includes; Higher Self or Inner Self, Ancestry, Angels, Spirit Guide, Animal Guide and Fairies (amongst others). The next list covers philosophies like Zen Buddhism, Taoism and the occurrence of Karma. Then there is the pantheon of organized religions all harkening to a hierarchy with at least two levels (Humankind usually inhabiting a lower level). What unites all of these systems of thought is the single ingredient which keeps the foundations of each firmly in place: Faith.

Faith is the belief that what has been taught is actual. That the thought process that promises the participant corresponding support is valid. Yet many systems profess to be the "one and only" true way to ultimate salvation of spirit. In many, if not all of these mentioned support systems, the commonality of Faith is persistent. The fervent believe that what they have been told is true in large part and will protect, guide, and provide for the believer as they make their way through this Life. Faith is a great thing to have as long as one never loses their Faith. For if one ever loses their Faith the question can be asked, "How truly strong was their Faith?".

How one arrives at a state where they can speak out loud regarding the Faith they have in their belief system is unique to each. And truly when one does announce their Faith the listener has no standard by which to determine the strength of the believer's commitment. Which is probably not important unless one is drawing their Faith from the other's perceived Faith.

If there were a single unseen source of support that protected, guided, and provided for all of nature, including Humankind, the interface between that source and all the uniquely thinking, feeling, and behaving Humans would need to be unique on a level that might be hard to fathom. The possibility that an intellect at the top of a hierarchal pyramid would choose to communicate to such diversity with only one set of words is silly. And further still that from the beginning of such communication and throughout all communications (possibly spanning millennia), that those words would not change is beyond silly. Yet inside whatever concepts and language imparted from the Single Source to the Faithful the core message would most likely be consistent. Early on, the subject matter with the purpose of forming a faithful base, and communicating with a population that was less diverse and less technologically sophisticated, might be couched in terms that warranted the greatest attention. Then as the Faithful grew in their own sophistication and intellect, increasingly expanded information could be included all leading in the same direction. That across a vast spectrum of cultural and spiritual differences the same concepts and language would be used to impart guidance to the Faithful does not make sense.

The many that believe a Single Source of support really does exist understand it to be the same thing that most people call God. As many people are familiar with the concept of their religious/cultural version of God they quite often are not equally familiar and accepting of the concept of another group's God. Yet in the heart of the so described "Faithful" the idea that there are competing gods is an anathema and unacceptable. To embrace the concept of God from an alternate religious/cultural/spiritual framework has the potential to call into question one's Faith. So without great investigation the ulterior concept of God is harshly condemned. But simply because the idea of what is the Single Source the idea of competing gods is ruled out. This leads to and affirms that alternate concepts of God are actually connections to the same Single Source recognized by all religious/cultural/spiritual frameworks. And yes that does mean all.

When the Spanish landed in the New World and discovered new civilizations they were incapable of understanding that the gods worshipped and supplicated to were facets of the Single Source. The clash of cultures occurred due to the inability of one or both sides to allow for the discrepancy between the concepts and language God used to communicate with the respective cultures. Those that have Faith have no difficulties allowing others to commune with the Single Source as they might. Those that lack Faith or that use Faith as a tool to protect or manipulate groups, whether in securing the upward movement of the souls in their charge or simply to establish a power base, are less likely to live and let live. That is the opening for conflict. There is no fault to be had by allowing someone to commune with their creator in the best way they understand. It is truly beyond one to determine for another how their Faith should manifest and function.

Statistically, it is beyond doubt that there is Life on other planets in this Universe. Any Life form that becomes sufficiently self-aware comes to understand that there is something greater than the self. Through the exploration of self-awareness the concept of the Single Source or God becomes apparent. This does not assure appropriate and faithful interactions with other self-aware Life forms, that was illustrated by the Conquistadores. So when Life forms from other planets arrive on Earth there is the probability some will understand and others will be less understanding of the various forms of expression on this planet when it comes to what many on Earth call God.

Now to God. This Single Source called by so many names and embraced through so many various means is universally understood to be infinite; all-loving, all-merciful, all-knowing, all-present and all-powerful. A concept of Being that instantly burst beyond our understanding. Yet even with our limited capacity to grasp the ultimate capacity of Our Creator so many fail to grasp the shortcomings of our own abilities. Here we are, Life forms with limited intellectual understanding and self-awareness given by our own hand the most daunting of Human tasks, perfection. It is impossible that an; all-loving, all-merciful, all-knowing, all-present, all-powerful Intellect Being-ness would subject a limited creature, such as Humankind, to an undesirable fate of eternal damnation and suffering that many ascribe is sure to follow a frail and uncertain experience. Giving a single opportunity to an individual to achieve perfection on the first go 'round also belies the value and potential qualities gained from the Human experience. Given one opportunity to "make good" without the option to reconsider past decisions shows a lack of understanding as to the purpose of this experience and its origin.

God created us to have a unique experience as we navigate from our station back to the Single Source of our origin. In so doing we inherently gather understanding as to what will help us rise toward our ultimate nature. Identifying between expansive and contractive conduct, leading to our rising or sinking station is the task at hand. Each has their corresponding condition and result. Results that for many if more consciously considered, different behaviors would likely be pursued. The process of our experience, which is not a single one-time event, consist of identification and consideration followed by action. For most of us this happens each day with great frequency.

With our limitations we are not sent into this Life to search for the ultimate device through which to achieve perfection. We are individual representations of the Infinite, in some way, repeatedly sent forward to continue the honing of our evolving skills to live and let live and to rise as we aid those around us to rise as we might and as we are able. For every act there is a by-product of our effort leading us in a direction we chose in our original action. We push forward in the direction we deem desirable and then from there identify the result and consider our next action. This produces an endless stream of unique experiences adding to the infinite nature of the Single Source. In the performance of our unique experience it is impossible to make a mistake. Actions undertaken may lead away from the Single Source but given repeat opportunities to identify, consider and act even a truncated sense of consciousness will learn and naturally seek to rise. Be certain results always match actions. We always head in the direction we select. But if you learn something from doing what you would not do again, even if it is repeated before the action is fully identified and considered, it is not a mistake. It is Life.
