1. LifeWord count: 911©2009 Many Moore Designs Choices@ThePowerToLove.com A person's life is all about them. Everything they do comes back to the subject of them. There is nothing wrong with that. In fact that is the proper structure of how things were meant to be. We think of ourselves as individuals. Many think of themselves as independent. And we are, insofar as our actions reflect the thoughts in our mind. That being the case, consider this, we have control over just one matter, ourselves. Anything else that is perceived within one's command is merely influenced. Here is where a dualistic split takes place. Over part of the spectrum of human consciousness people respond to the world around them as if they need to gain control over the elements of life and this world and in so doing provide for their personal success. Then on other parts of the spectrum of human consciousness those people trust their connection to the universe to create with them the most advantages circumstances to further their experience. The questions of how these two realities could coexist, the source of such divergence, and if one is right, is one wrong, inevitably arise. The glass is half-full, the glass is half-empty - the simple choice of perspective one will make in approaching any particular matter. The physical universe is an action universe. For most of us here on Earth we have not developed the capacity to manifest physical objects out of thin air. Mostly for things to come into our possession we still need to act. Even if someone provides things for us we still need to perform some action if nothing more than a previous action or being aligned with someone or something which provides for us because of who we are or what we might become otherwise. The possibility of an action is an act influential enough. Our perspective leads to the actions we engage in response to the highly frequently, reoccurring demand upon us to respond to the events in and around us. That is life, highly frequently, reoccurring demands upon us to respond to the events in and around us. What gives a person their perspective to engage their response is partly concealed within their DNA. The outlook a person enters into this life with is a genetic trait that is handed down to them from their ancestors. Traits not necessarily directly of their mother or father but potentially going back generations. Though be certain, DNA is not the end of the contributing factors. Once a person builds self-awareness, by definition, they begin to know themselves. As they begin to know themselves they can begin to recognize their behaviors, talents, and opinions. From these characteristics some predicable responses are likely developed. Through their response a person is self-directed upon a path that is pointed in a direction that is reflective of their character and their perspective. Where that path continues is the sole choice of the individual. Those personal choices render temporary and permanent results in the mind and physically which then demands further action. These choices are colored by ancestral traits and learned perspectives and often can be registered in glass half-full/glass half-empty terms. Where one starts in this life does not have to dictate to where they continue. And yes, inaction and thinking are actions. There is no such thing as chance. We choose if overall we are to be happy or not. We choose the direction of our path. We choose if we want to look at something from a positive perspective or a less-positive perspective, half-full/half-empty. So in higher and lower segments of human consciousness the optimistic half-full perspective would be higher and the pessimistic half-empty perspective would be lower. Optimism lifts, pessimism brings down. These are merely stations from where we act. One's life may be centered in a pessimistic consciousness. This does not negate the reality that that individual has the potential to rise. They may actually be rising yet appear, from another vantage point, to be in a persistently low state of consciousness. Yet when, how, and how greatly they rise is always determinable from within the individual's choices. Being that they do not select to rise or rise greatly, they partake in some measure, in a stuggle, expressing their freewill downward instead of their nature to fluidly rise with the flow of this experience. This is perfectly fine as it will lead the individual into an experience where they will have another opportunity to recognize their situation, consider their options, and act once again. Selecting to flow with life or to stuggle within it, to rise or to sink, to see the glass half-full or half-empty is a very personal matter. The ascertainment of another person's level of consciousness as to their rise is ineffective regarding one's own positive experience. Each action we engage is deemed by us to be the most desirable course to be followed at that time. Caring about a Loved one is less about the person and more about the caring/acting individual's emotions and intellect. We choose our perspective. If an individual is not self-aware than no, or not much of an intellect is present. Hence, if a self-aware intellect is present, choices are made and these most desirable actions have, or will, render matching results. It does not get any simpler than this, we choose.
